To ensure, as volunteers, that Auxiliary members continue to promote all that is good in the nation today, tomorrow

AUXILIARY PURPOSE
Associate with The American Legion and support the work of the world’s largest
veterans’ organization.
Uphold the law of the land and defend the principles of democracy.
X-plain and guard the basic freedoms of religion and expression.
Instaill a sense of obligation to the community, state and nation.
Leaders in education for young people.
Implement numerous community efforts and programs to assist families and children across
the nation.
Assist our nation’s veterans through legislation, funding and volunteerism.
Raise awareness of patriotism and devotion to country.
Year-round participation and dedication to service, not self.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR
MEMBERSHIP

A woman who is eligible for membership in The American Legion
·
The mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, or grandmother of members of The American Legion, and deceased veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during the listed
war periods. Step-relatives are also eligible.
